Bridging Faith and Citizenship
The Islam & Citizenship Education (ICE) project was created to help young Muslims explore how Islamic values align with and enrich the principles of British citizenship. Through carefully designed lessons, students discover that being a good Muslim and being a good citizen are not competing identities, but deeply complementary ones.
In memory of Maurice Irfan Coles, whose vision, scholarship and tireless advocacy made the project possible.
